YES WE FINISHED OUR FILM
Today during lunch and our lesson we maneged to finsh the film.
we took away the effect on the end part where the pentagram is revealed and put on a black and white effect so that the pentagram stands out much better. We changed and added some credits. We changed the music credit from being my name to laylas as she thought her name wasnt up as much as ours. eventhough i had found the music. We added screenplay because we had some empty spaces which would benifit from this. finally we added the music which i had already downloaded from freeplay.com which allows us to download copyright free music. We had to cut some of the music because it was too long also because the middle part was kind of slow. as we cut the music up the beginning and end fit perfect with the video but we needed another part for the middle which we got from the middle part of the music. However the end part of this music piece fitted perfectly with the end part of the end music howver it sounded quite weird with the beginning so we played around with it, by cutting and decresing the sounds finally we watched it over and had mary watch it over she didnt realise the differnece in music.Title of our thriller
We were stuck on the name for our thriller and the day before we had to finish out thriller Lisa came up with the name “Bathory”, which was inspired by Elizabeth Bathory. She was a Hungarian Countess who also was known as an infamous serial killer, who tortured and killed hundreds of women. There were rumours that she bathed in the blood of virgin girls which she thought her youth would preserve.
Lisa thought this could apply with our thriller because we know she is summoning the devil to do her bidding. We didn’t know what she was “bidding”, however we incorporated the story of Bathory by having the girl being obsessed by the tales of Bathory. She wants to summon the devil to help her carry on or to re-create Bathory’s tales.
We saved our film and finished quite early. Now all i have to do is my evaluation.
