How to use a Camera

In today lesson we had been taught by micky on how to use a camera. He had made a short clip on how to use a camera which told us how switch on and off the camera, take out the battery, putting in and out a tap and how to us manually bottons eg record and zooming. We also got the chance to open the tripod and put the camera on for safey.
In that lesson it was only me and nasmia in our group so there wasnt enough people in so we was put in another group so i was with Karess and Ufuk. That lesson we had been given a task to make our practise video in a short game of cards. Our group had to plan out our story broad on what was going to happen and what camera shots we would use. I was given a role of one of the characters and so was my group member Ufuk. At the start of our video we was told to give it 5seconds at the start and 5seconds at the end of our shot. We had set our short clip in a dark room which only had natural light, we then discided to us closes up, extreme closes ups. long shots, panning and much more. The room starting getting dark and we didnt have any other light so we had to rush the rest of our video.
